Slick Approaches Negros --Oil Spill Update

AUGUST 28th - The Provincial Disaster Management Team of Negros confirmed today the presence of an oil sheen 18 to 20 kilometres from the coast of Ilog, Negros Occidental. A larger oil slick trails further behind. The sheen is also 10 kilometres from Himamaylan City, as confirmed by EARTH Rescue of Himamaylan.
